I am crate and house trained but could use more work on my leash walking skills. I am wonderful with older children but a bit of a prima donna so I want to be your one and only family pet. - Extremely smart and a quick learner….if she wants to.
- VERY dominate girl, can not be in a home with other female dogs or cats. She may do okay with males, but she will try and dominate them as well.
- VERY protective of her family, home and yard.
- Can be very vocal especially when it is time to eat or when alerting.
- Has had basic obedience but definitely needs a refresher with her new family and needs work on her leash walking skills.
- Loves being groomed, will show teeth and doesn’t mind her nails being cut.
- She is heavy handed with her paws and does not like to be told to role over…she doesn’t want her belly exposed. She will do it for me because I leave her no other choice.
- She is great with children, 8 or older would be best….if to small she will herd and nip them.
- Pepper needs a firm but loving hand, she definitely needs an alpha other wise there will be problems. She is also very loving and affectionate and is happy just being with her family.
